Multivitamins for Her is our daily multivitamin for women, built around the nutrients women most commonly run low on — iron, iodine, folate and the B-vitamins — at meaningful doses. Formulated by GPs.

Key Benefits

  • Iron (18mg, 129% NRV) as ferrous bisglycinate — contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, normal oxygen transport in the body, normal cognitive function, the normal function of the immune system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Folate (300µg, 150% NRV) as active methylfolate (5-MTHF) — contributes to normal blood formation, the normal function of the immune system and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
  • Iodine (187.5µg, 125% NRV) — contributes to normal thyroid function and normal cognitive function.
  • Biotin (200µg, 400% NRV) — contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin, and normal energy-yielding metabolism.
  • Zinc (12.5mg, 125% NRV) as bisglycinate — contributes to normal fertility and reproduction, the normal function of the immune system, and the maintenance of normal skin, hair and nails.
  • Vitamin D3 (25µg, 500% NRV) — contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamins B6, B12 and folate contribute to the normal function of the immune system; thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and biotin contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Why Dr Marks?

We use active forms throughout — methylfolate, methylcobalamin, P5P and chelated minerals — at NRV levels chosen for the nutrients women are most likely to need. No titanium dioxide, no artificial colours and no unnecessary bulking agents or fillers, in a vegetable HPMC capsule.

A GP’s View on Supplement Timelines

Consistent Daily Use: What Happens in the Body

Many supplement brands print fixed charts promising you will “feel more energy in Week 2” or “see thicker hair in Month 2”. As practising UK GPs, we won’t do that. What happens when you take a supplement depends on whether you are topping up an everyday diet (where nutrients work quietly in the background and you may not “feel” a sudden change) or correcting a low level found on a GP blood test.

Days 1–7

Daily routine & digestive comfort

Take 1 capsule a day with a main meal and water. Taking your capsule with food is gentler on the stomach and helps fat-soluble vitamins absorb normally.
Note: Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) naturally turns urine bright yellow — this is harmless and simply shows water-soluble B vitamins passing through.

Weeks 2–6

Steady daily nutritional intake

Consistent daily intake helps top up your diet every day rather than in sporadic bursts. Water-soluble nutrients (such as B vitamins and vitamin C) are used daily and aren’t stored in large amounts, while fat-soluble nutrients (such as vitamin D) build up gradually with steady daily intake.

Weeks 8–12 (1–2 pouches)

Long-term maintenance & GP blood re-checks

Red blood cells turn over roughly every 90 to 120 days. When a GP treats a confirmed low level (such as vitamin B12 or vitamin D), NICE and NHS guidance typically schedules a clinical review or follow-up check around 3 months. For everyday dietary top-ups, steady ongoing habits matter most.
