Omega 3 Fish Oil — 330mg EPA and 220mg DHA per capsule
Our Omega 3 is a high-concentration fish oil delivering 330mg EPA and 220mg DHA per capsule.
Key Benefits
- EPA & DHA (330mg + 220mg from 1000mg fish oil, 33/22 concentration) — DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and normal vision. EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart. These beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 250mg DHA, and 250mg EPA and DHA, when taking 2 capsules daily (440mg DHA; 1,100mg EPA and DHA).
- Natural mixed tocopherols (Vitamin E, 4mg) — included to help protect the oil from oxidation.
Why Dr Marks?
Ours is concentrated to 33% EPA and 22% DHA.
How to take it
Take 1 or 2 capsules daily, ideally with food and a glass of water. The brain, vision and heart benefits come from taking 2 capsules daily. 90 capsules per pouch.
Suitability
Important: this capsule shell is gelatine (fish-derived), unlike the rest of our range, which uses vegetable (HPMC) capsules. It is not suitable for vegetarians. Contains fish (from fish oil). If you're on anticoagulant medication or have a fish or seafood allergy, please check with your GP or pharmacist before use. If you have atrial fibrillation or another heart rhythm problem, seek advice from your GP or pharmacist before use.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children.

Consistent Daily Use: What Happens in the Body
Many supplement brands print fixed charts promising you will “feel more energy in Week 2” or “see thicker hair in Month 2”. As practising UK GPs, we won’t do that. What happens when you take a supplement depends on whether you are topping up an everyday diet (where nutrients work quietly in the background and you may not “feel” a sudden change) or correcting a low level found on a GP blood test.
Daily routine & digestive comfort
Take 1 or 2 capsules a day with a main meal and water. Taking capsules alongside food supports normal digestion and helps make a daily habit stick.
Steady daily nutritional intake
Consistent daily intake helps top up your diet every day rather than in sporadic bursts. Water-soluble nutrients (such as B vitamins and vitamin C) are used daily and aren’t stored in large amounts, while fat-soluble nutrients (such as vitamin D) build up gradually with steady daily intake.
Long-term maintenance & GP blood re-checks
Red blood cells turn over roughly every 90 to 120 days. When a GP treats a confirmed low level (such as vitamin B12 or vitamin D), NICE and NHS guidance typically schedules a clinical review or follow-up check around 3 months. For everyday dietary top-ups, steady ongoing habits matter most.
