Why Take Vitamin D?
Around 1 in 4 people in the UK have low Vitamin D levels, particularly during autumn and winter months. Dr Marks Vitamin D3 4000IU pairs a high-strength dose of D3 with Vitamin K2 — two nutrients that work together, not just alongside each other, to look after your bones.
Why add K2?
Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium — K2 is what helps direct that calcium to your bones and teeth rather than your arteries and soft tissue. Most Vitamin D supplements on the market leave K2 out entirely, or add a token amount. We include a full 100µg of the well-absorbed MK-7 form in every capsule.
Key Benefits
- Bone & Teeth Support — Vitamin D3 and K2 contribute to the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and calcium metabolism
- Immune System — Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system
- Muscle Function — Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function
- Calcium & Phosphorus Absorption — Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, and normal blood calcium levels
- Blood Clotting — Vitamin K2 contributes to normal blood clotting
Why Dr Marks?
A lot of Vitamin D products on the shelf are dosed at 400–1000IU — well below what UK adults with low levels typically need. Ours is dosed at a genuinely high-strength 100µg (4000IU), at the top end of what UK guidance considers safe for daily adult use, paired with a full clinical dose of K2 rather than a decorative one. It's formulated by practising NHS GPs to the dose they'd actually recommend, not the dose that's cheapest to manufacture.
Directions
Take one capsule daily with food. Suitable for adults. Consult your GP if pregnant, breastfeeding, on anticoagulant medication, or taking other medication.
